Features / AI assistant
An assistant that reads and writes with you.
Ask your inbox a question, summarise a long email, or get a reply draft in the tone you choose.
Why it matters
Long email threads take time to read, and the right reply takes even longer to write, especially in a formal tone or in a second language.
The Qasid AI assistant reads the email for you and drafts the answer. You always see the draft first and send it only when you’re happy with it.
How it works
- Open an email. Press “Summarise” for the key points and anything you need to do.
- Ask for a reply. Say what you want to answer in a few words (“yes, Thursday works, ask for the invoice”) and pick a tone.
- Review and send. The draft opens in your reply, with your signature. Change anything, then send.
What you get
- Ask your inbox. Ask “Did Ahmed pay invoice 1043?” and get a short answer from your own emails, with links to the emails it used.
- Summaries. The point of a long email or thread, and what’s being asked of you, in a few lines.
- Drafts waiting for you. Turn it on for a mailbox and a reply draft is ready for new emails before you open them. You check it and send.
- Reply drafts. Friendly, formal or short, with your signature already in place.
- Write a new email. Describe it in a sentence (“ask Ahmed for last month’s sales report”) and get a complete email.
- You stay in control. Nothing is sent without you. The draft is just a draft.
- Your own AI key. Organizations can connect their own Claude, OpenAI or self-hosted model and use their own account.
- Fair limits. A daily allowance per person keeps costs predictable for the whole team.
- Ask in your own words. Questions can be short and casual. The answer comes in the language you asked in.
Questions
Is my email used to train AI?
The email text is sent to the AI model only when you press a button, to produce that one summary or draft. Claude and OpenAI don’t train on requests made through their business API.
Can we use our own AI account?
Yes. An organization admin can add their own key for Claude, OpenAI or any OpenAI-compatible server.
Which languages does the app work in?
English, with an optional Urdu interface that each person can turn on in Settings → Appearance. Emails in any language, including right-to-left scripts, always display correctly.
